Technical Workshop Overview:
This seminar will go over the best practices for deploying and managing iPad and iPod Touch in an Educationenvironment.

Education brings special challenges in deploying and managing iPads and iPod Touches, whether the devices are set up
in a cart and shared or whether they are deployed in a 1:1 basis. This seminar will demonstrate the best practices for
deploying and managing iPads and iPod Touches in both environments and cover topics such as iCloud, device backup,
mass deployment, WiFi syncing, and Mobile Device Management servers.

We will also discuss deployment and App Store / Volume Purchase Program best practices, App licensing strategies for both shared devices and personal scenarios. We will also cover best practices for creating and using iTunes store accounts for institutional, personal and layered (both) use of purchased and free Apps.

If there are additional topics you would like to see covered please let us know.

Who Should Attend?
Technicians, Technology Integrators, Technology Directors, anyone responsible for managing or deploying these devices

Note: Please bring an iPad or iPod Touch running iOS 5.0.x. It would be best if you can have this device be erasable in case you want to test the "Remote Wipe" command during the hands-on exercise.
