Cyber Incident Preparation for K-12 Leadership
Join us for a virtual day of cyber safety focusing on incident response planning. Featured speakers are Bill Nash and Tim Greve.
Tim Greve is the Chief Information Security Officer for Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and volunteers as an Incident Response Team Lead for the Wisconsin Cyber Response Team (CRT). As a CRT lead, he’s responded to multiple school districts during ransomware events and assists on many of the calls received by the CRT.
Bill Nash serves as a Cybersecurity Advisor (CSA) in Region 5 (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin) at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Based in Madison, Wisc., he supports CISA’s mission of strengthening the security and resilience of the nation’s critical infrastructure. Prior to joining CISA, Mr. Nash served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the State of Wisconsin.
Attendees will learn how to use free cyber incident resources from Wisconsin DPI and the Cyber Infrastructure and Security Agency, walk through cyber incident planning, and gain insight on lessons learned from Wisconsin Districts who have lived through cyber attacks.
The intended audience for this event is district leadership, including Technology Leaders, Human Resources, Business Office and Managers, and Finance teams.
Cost: Free
Zoom Link will be shared with registered attendees prior to the event.
