Training of Trainers

You have been selected by your CESA/other to participate in the Training of Trainers Sessions for DPI’s “Attracting and Retaining Wisconsin’s Special Educators Induction Program”.

The  multi-day Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions are designed to build regional capacity of CESA trainers and coaches/facilitators on the use of High-Leverage Practices in Special Education, Comprehensive Evaluation, CCR IEP development, IEP meeting facilitation and monitoring progress. Training is aligned with CEC standards. In turn, you will provide six regional “just in time” professional development sessions to a cohort of 25 new educators throughout the 2023-24 school year.

Following completion of the ToT, participants will be able to deliver six session of professional development. In addition, participants will be able to establish credibility and build trust through on-going demonstration of a deep knowledge of the work and the underlying research and best practices to facilitate solutions.

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to varied dietary restrictions, CESA 8 cannot guarantee that all special dietary accommodations can be met.
