These seminars are intended for all 1st year Initial Educators in the teacher category. Teachers from any grant partner district may attend workshops at any location. Those who have attended the Classroom Management and Bullying seminars earlier this year at CESA #4 should not attend these at a North or South location as much of the content will be a repeat.
Please register by going to the new CESA #4 website and click on the professional development link at the top. It will take you through the process of our new on-line registration system. First time users will be asked to fill out online registration information so that you may then register for this and other CESA #4 workshops.
These seminars are available for and offered at no cost to Peer Review and Mentoring Grant Partners and PI-34 Educator Quality and Licensing Member Districts: Alma Center-Humbird-Merrillan, Arcadia, Bangor, Blair-Taylor, Black River Falls, Cashton, Cochrane-Fountain City, De Soto, Hillsboro, Independence, La Farge, Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton, Royall, Sparta, Tomah, Viroqua, Westby, West Salem, Whitehall, Wonewoc-Center, and Diocese of La Crosse Catholic Schools: Sacred Heart School, Cashton; St. Charles School, Genoa; SS Peter and Paul School, Independence; Aquinas Catholic Schools, La Crosse; St. Patrick School, Sparta; St. Mary School, Tomah; and St. Boniface, Waumandee) Educators.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
