Reimagining universal behavior supports in a building means establishing a framework for behavior instruction and support that meets many needs with one foundation. In this training series participating teams will learn and begin to develop the universal infrastructure that will allow their building to support behaviors and meet the neds of students and staff. Unlike the traditional PBIS training models in Wisconsin, this training is intended to help teams build a universal system that centers equitable practices in the foundation and incorporating Social/Emotional Learning, trauma informed, and data driven decision practices.
Learning Outcomes:
- Leaders will understand the requirements for successful and sustainable Universal foundation implementation.
- Teams will learn the critical concepts necessary for a universal behavior support foundation and develop draft elements needed to successfully implement.
- Teams will learn adaptive content related to making implementation sustainable over time and more responsive to building needs.
