Making an Impact with Student-Centered Coaching
Two-Day Series with Diane Sweeney

Implementation of Student-Centered Coaching demands that we navigate many factors. This includes honing our coaching moves, establishing trusting relationships, and defining the coaching role. In this workshop, we will uncover how these factors can be leveraged to ensure that you get the most out of the instructional coaching role.

This workshop is designed for instructional coaches, administrators, and district leaders.
Coaches and leaders are encouraged to attend as a team and will receive a discounted rate for administrators.

Day One:

  • Establishing a clear vision for the coaching role
  • Engaging a broad array of teachers in coaching
  • Using concrete moves for launching coaching cycles

Day Two:

  • Measuring the impact of coaching on teacher and student learning
  • Ensuring that coaching conversations lead to rigorous and equitable instruction
  • Using a variety of coaching logs to stay organized

Registration Fee: $250 per person
$50 for each additional district administrator (Principals, C & I Directors, or Superintendents)                                    *one administrator per full-price participant*

  • $250 registration includes a copy of the book Moves for Launching a New Year of Student-Centered Coaching by Diane Sweeney, Leanna S. Harris, and Julie Steele
  • Breakfast and lunch included
  • Fees will be adjusted after all team members have registered
  • Please register by September 25, 2023

Cancellations will not be accepted after September 1, 2023, and no refunds will be allowed after this date. Registrations are transferrable within your district. This supersedes our standard cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
