Making an Impact with Student-Centered Coaching
Two-Day Series with Diane Sweeney
Implementation of Student-Centered Coaching demands that we navigate many factors. This includes honing our coaching moves, establishing trusting relationships, and defining the coaching role. In this workshop, we will uncover how these factors can be leveraged to ensure that you get the most out of the instructional coaching role.
This workshop is designed for instructional coaches, administrators, and district leaders.
Coaches and leaders are encouraged to attend as a team and will receive a discounted rate for administrators.
Day One:
- Establishing a clear vision for the coaching role
- Engaging a broad array of teachers in coaching
- Using concrete moves for launching coaching cycles
Day Two:
- Measuring the impact of coaching on teacher and student learning
- Ensuring that coaching conversations lead to rigorous and equitable instruction
- Using a variety of coaching logs to stay organized
