As special educators move more and more of their service into general education classrooms, it is essential to keep the “special” in the instruction. But what does it look like? How do we know it is happening? This session will help you explore and analyze examples of specially designed instruction, as well as discuss how adapting the content, methodology or delivery of instruction can help students achieve high standards.   Anne Beninghof, author of Specially Designed Instruction, Raising Success for Students with Disabilities, will be presenting virtually for CESA 7.
