Join the CESA 6 Literacy Center on a journey to create and implement strategic plans designed to build knowledge and systems that bolster the Science of Reading in early literacy instruction in your schools. We will guide you every step of the way!
CESA 6 Literacy Center’s partnership work is supported by research and position statements from:

National Council of Teachers of English
Resource agnostic: Regardless of your school system's curriculum resources, this learning opportunity will provide critical, high-impact instructional strategies that will bring value to your reading instruction.
This two-year partnership opportunity will provide coordinated support and services to school systems to promote continuous systems improvement for early literacy instruction.

GOALS of the CESA 6 EARLY LITERACY ACADEMY

Build a strong knowledge base |
Work within the initial system literacy plan and build it into a full strategic literacy plan that includes monitoring stages. |
Understand where the school(s) is with these practices using tools from each learning session. |
Continue key learning related to further imple- mentation and research. |
Engage in learning processes at the system level to gather data about the current state of the literacy program. |
Scale the learning across the system with a focus on teachers through on-demand professional learning modules. |
Expand how to support grade-level texts and learning throughout elementary years to grade 5. |

4 - 8 district team members: $8,500 per year*
9 - 12 district team members: $10,000 per year*
* Plus travel costs for non-CESA 6 schools / districts.
* Fee includes a copy of each professional text for each team member and lunch at each learning session.

Cancellation Policy:
Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
