LOCATION CHANGE: New location is the Comfort Suites Hotel, N5780 Kinney Rd (Hwy 78) in Portage
Facilitator: Genevieve Kirchman
Training Includes:
- Research review on bullying, including brain research
- Identification of the three types of bullies and strategies to address each type
- Review of developmentally appropriate classroom instructional units for Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8
- Overview of other bullying resources
- Only place to get the NEW Bully Bowl Game Show CD
- Healthy Relationship Learning Module for Teams
UPDATED Curriculum Includes Lessons On:
- Friends who bully
- Ways to use comebacks that work
- Role plays for the bystander to be more effective
- Skills necessary to build a bully-free school
Who Should Attend: Anyone that has NOT attended this training, Classroom Teachers, Guidance Counselors, Curriculum Directors, Safe & Drug Free Schools Coordinators and After School Program Directors
Registration Fee (includes lunch):
- ATOD Network Schools: $80/person + $40 for curriculum and 3 youth books used in curriculum
- ATOD Non-Network Schools: $120/person + $40 for curriculum and 3 youth books used in curriculum (Fall River, Marshfield, Mauston, Steven Point, Waupaca & Wild Rose)
