Certification for New Evaluators in the DPI Model of EE

This workshop will lead to certification or recertification for evaluators in DPI/Danielson model EE districts. Certification as an evaluator is required before conducting evidence collecting observations in classrooms. This year, the DPI has a new self-directed certification protocol. This workshop will take all attendees through that protocol, leading to certification as an evaluator. Experienced evaluators who need to recertify are also welcome to attend as the protocol is the same. Recertification has typically been required every four years. The DPI may update that due to the decision to change vendors for the certification process. 

Learning Outcomes:

• Complete certification or recertification as an evaluator of teachers in Danielson model districts.
• Become more familiar with the Danielson Framework for Teaching.
• Increase self-reflection to minimize bias in observations.

This workshop is offered to CESA 10 Districts at no additional cost.
