AM: Participants will learn strategies to help identify and teach foundation skills that are often missing or inconsistently displayed in young learners on the autism spectrum.  Participants will learn how to integrate strategies to support and promote the 5 foundational skills into functional IFSP and IEP goals.

PM: Challenging behavior is often cited as one of the primary obstacles to successful interactions when working with young children. Pediatric therapists and early childhood teachers must continuously assess each child’s readiness to learn and determine when to focus on supporting emotional regulation and when to focus on building new skills. This training  will provide strategies to leverage connection, compassion, and co-regulation to support young children during times of distress

Registrants can also attend the evening session for no extra cost: 6 pm - 8 pm: Power of Play in a High-Tech World (Community Training)
