Please join us for an insightful day of mathematics conversation and learning centered on ACT Mathematics?!  

 

Workshop Goals: 

Participants will

• Frame the day’s work by discussing the role of high-quality, standardized-aligned materials and the Statement about College Readiness and the Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics from Wisconsin Higher Education and K-12 Representatives in the teaching and learning of mathematics.

• Engage in a crosswalk of ACT Mathematics?  College and Career Readiness Standards, the Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics (2021), and their district curriculum. 

• Review released test items to consider implications for test preparation. 

• Develop a strategic district plan for test preparation. 

• Network with others around this work. 

Audience: Educators supporting the student learning of high school mathematics.

Date: December 20, 2022

Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

Location: CESA 8, 223 West Park Street, Gillett

Cost: $125 for CESA 8 CIA member districts; $250 for all others. 

Registration: To ensure timely delivery, books will be ordered on December 9. Participants must be registered by this date to receive a book at the meeting. Those that register after this date, may not receive a book. Register at www.myQuickReg.com.
