The How to Develop PLCs for Singletons and Small Schools book study will review the various structures of a PLC community and allow exploration around collaboration structures for all buildings within a district. Although the book is written for small schools and singletons, it is a quick read that provides an excellent overview of possible teaming structures to best support continuous improvement efforts. Some specific topics include:

  • Learn what it means to practice "collaboration lite."
  • Discover scenarios, principles, opportunities, challenges, and recommendations for including singletons in collaboration meetings.
  • Review specific ways that teams can help singletons and small teams be active participants in the PLC process.
  • Learn the steps for creating vertical, interdisciplinary, and virtual teams.
  • Read sample dialogues and tips for how to state intentions related to building collaboration teams and including singletons in the process.

**Participants must purchase their own book.**
