Building Relationships with Individual Students (WDLC Micro-course)

In this micro-course, teachers will demonstrate that they develop indivdual relationships with students that will support their success ina blended learning environment. Educators will demonstrate that they can project a warm and accessible persona to students that supports the shift to a coaching and mentoring rapport, develop a communcation and feedback process that ensures quality interactions with individual students, and provide unconditional positive regard showing complete support and acceptance of all students even when students struggle to connect. The course includes three synchronous group meetings and one individually scheduled meeting.

 

Facilitator: Ken Sajdak, veteran Social Studies teacher, WVS consultant, and WDLC Failitator 

Length: 8 weeks (self-paced and lightly facilitated) January 17 - March 13, 2023

Cost: WI residents = $149 (out of state = $199); free for WVS Consultants and Teachers
