**Our first event will be February 8 and the second event will be February 21.**
In collaboration with CESAs 7, 8, and 9, we are pleased to announce that Wiley Blevins will be back with a Multisyllabic Words class.
In this virtual workshop, participants will learn:
- how to help students access multisyllabic words through a Reading Multisyllabic Words strategy, attention to syllable types, and the teaching of high-frequency syllables
- how word study in the intermediate grades combines decoding, spelling, and morphology work to build vocabulary and deeper awareness of how English words work
The needs of students below grade-level expectations will also be addressed.
**The first 25 registrants from each CESA will receive a copy of Wiley Blevins' book Teaching Phonics and Word Study in the Intermediate Grades.**
