Strong Instruction and Classroom Management - Virtual X

This series of after-school workshops will center on techniques from Doug Lemov's book, Teach Like a Champion with features from Rick Smith's Conscious Classroom Management, as well.  Teachers looking to build foundational instructional and management skills to improve learning will benefit greatly from these workshops. 

Teachers will learn techniques to check for understanding, establish high expectations, build character and trust, and establish systems and routines.

Perfect candidates for attending: teachers looking to add structure to their classrooms, first and second-year teachers, and administrators looking to coach their staff in instruction and classroom management. Registering for February 1 workshop will automatically register participants for the three other workshops on February 8, March 1, and March 8.   

COST: $150 per participant    (Free to Educator Development and Support Districts 27/31 CESA Schools) 

 

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
