This leadership series is designed to guide superintendents and principals through the process of ensuring equity and excellence for all students in the area of literacy. Challenging traditional assumptions and utilizing solid research, American Reading Company will bring to you a scope and sequence focused on areas of literacy and implementation procedures that create a plan for success. With literacy scores at the forefront of community priorities, you can expect to learn about the components of highly effective reading instruction, processes for quality implementation, how to gather and use appropriate data, and how interventions fit into the plan. All sessions conclude with immediate take-away strategies for timely implementation. Please note this is a six session series and free seating is limited to two attendees per district. You will be notified when unused seats become available and open for additional attendees. We recommend including your reading specialist if seating is available. Additional seats can be purchased.
