The RtI Framework Mapping process allows a school team to articulate their multi-level system of support around the three essential elements of High Quality Instruction, Collaboration, and Balanced Assessment.
Outcome:
- Create a defined "map" of your school system's practices and resources within multiple levels that facilitates student success within a RtI framework.
- Determine RtI components established and those still needing implementation within your building.
Audience:
- This workshop is designed for teams focusing on a grade level content area.
- Key individuals who should be included are curriculum leaders and staff representing the grade level/content area chosen for mapping focus.
- Teams need not have attended a RtI Foundational Overview; the RtI Framework Mapping sessions are designed for schools with background knowledge in RtI and who are already on the RtI journey. Schools with no background work in RtI will not benefit from this training.
Preparation:
- Bring materials outlinging curriculum, instruction, and assessment data related to the grade level/content area you have determined to begin mapping in your building.
Presenters: Sarah Nelson, WI RtI Center & Maija Alexandrou, CESA #12
Registration fee includes: materials, breaks & lunch.
