The CESA 6 Literacy Center is dedicated to growing educators’ knowledge base and skills to incorporate Science of Reading research and a structured literacy framework into their reading instruction. Increase reading competency in your youngest readers with the “Impactful Early Literacy Practices – On-Demand Learning Modules.” Educators will learn and have opportunities to practice, collaborate and plan forward with colleagues to promote continuous improvement of classroom instruction.

DELIVERABLES

• Build background information about the Science of Reading and balance implementation in the classroom
• Personalized professional learning for administrators and teachers K-5
• Shifting early literacy practices in the classroom to prepare readers with strong decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills
• Strategic planning to scale the learning to teachers with the On-Demand Teacher Modules
• Tools to support leaders in providing impactful professional learning for teachers through a systems approach

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
