Low Tech Making for Elementary Educators - PK-6

Gather with other elementary educators for this hands-on make-and-take workshop.  In this session we will focus on creating a stop motion animation studio and/or a mini-makerspace right in your own classroom - without a lot of fancy or expensive gear. You will leave with not only an understanding of how and why to bring these activities to your classroom, but also a wealth of practical resources to help you get started right away with the technology and materials you already have. We will also discuss strategies for connecting your makerspace with community partners. Each participant will have the opportunity to create one or more “maker kits” with complete materials for classroom use. 

This session is offered exclusively to CESA 10 districts participating in College & Career Readiness, including:  Abbotsford, Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilmanton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee and Spencer.  Discount will be automatically applied.
