A thinking student is an engaged student, yet many teachers find it difficult to implement lessons that help students go beyond rote memorization and repetitive calculations. Peter Liljedahl's book, Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics, Grades K-12, serves as a practical guide for teachers to learn how to move toward a thinking classroom. Join educators from CESA 9 to learn more about research-based practices that create optimal conditions for learner-centered, deep mathematical thinking and learning.
While participants are encouraged to read the book, it is not required.  The book is available to purchase HERE.
