Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) The cornerstone of CPI since 1980, this program is considered the global standard for crisis prevention and intervention training. With a core philosophy of providing for the Care, Welfare, Safety, and SecuritySM of everyone involved in a crisis situation, the program's proven strategies give human service providers and educators the skills to safely respond to various levels of risk behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care.
CPI/NVCI/NCI training includes 2-3 hours of online work prior to in-person class & 4 hours of in-person training
The link to the online portion of this training will be emailed to participants on October 6, 2022
Staff must complete the online portion of the class prior to the in-person class.
Staff must attend the entire course, no exceptions.
Participants must commit to arriving on time.

*Participants should wear comfortable clothing for this training that provides full coverage and allows for ease of movement. It is essential that shoes be flat with closed toes, closed heels, and non-skid soles.
