Schoolwide Implementation Review (SIR) Workshop

The Schoolwide Implementation Review (SIR) is a self-assessment instrument developed by the Wisconsin RtI Center that is built around the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s vision of Equitable Multi-Level Systems of Supports (EMLSS).

The SIR is designed for school leadership teams, including the building principal and representatives of multiple perspectives, to complete together. Collaborative completion of the SIR can help leadership teams build a shared knowledge-base of the components of Wisconsin’s vision of EMLSS and gain a greater awareness of their current reality and their position on the continuum toward an EMLSS.

For this workshop, school teams will be asked to select one content area focus (ELA or Math) for engaging with the SIR. The team will reflect on the current levels of implementation for: high-quality instruction, strategic use of data, collaboration, leadership and organizational structures. Wherever you are in the implementation process, this self-assessment can provide your team with helpful direction as you consider your next steps.

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
