High quality children's literature allows our students to explore their own community, communities different from their own, and the world around them...all while learning more about themselves. This makes the integration of literature a perfect pairing!

Learning Outcomes:

Learn how books can serve windows, mirrors, and sliding doors for exploring themes.
Select books that are aligned to our Wisconsin Social Studies Standards.
Learn how to use picture books to extend inquiry.
