Regional Training

This Regional Training is designed to support K-12 education professionals and professionals who work with adults with a basic understanding of how to get staff, students and clients started on WISCareers, how to promote usage, and how to utilize the support and administrative features. Regional Training provides participants with an introduction to the many features of the WISCareers website, including Assessments, Occupations, Education, Job-Seeking, Budgeting, ePortfolio/ILP and Education and Career Planning. In addition, training provides participants with instruction on the professional features, including how to search for lesson plans, generate Site Usage Reports, access individual’s ePortfolios/ILPs, use Administrative Tools, navigate through the new look, among other topics.
We will also take a look at the new Elementary site for grades 4-6!!!
Audience: K-12, Adult
If you are member of the Perkins Consortium or purchase the CTE Leadership service, there is no cost for this workshop. This includes: ACHM, Arcadia, Bangor, BRF, B-T, Cashton, C-FC, De Soto, G-E-T, Hillsboro, Independence, La Crosse, La Farge, Mel-Min, N-O-W, Onalaska, Sparta, West Salem, Whitehall. There is a registration cost of $75 for all others to attend. This includes: Alma, Holmen, Royall, Tomah, Viroqua, Westby, Wonewoc. Payments will be collected by CESA 4.

Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
