iPads in Special Eduation

All day attendance required!

The iPad changes the way teachers and students access the web, share media, and learn on the go. This workshop will be broken up into an AM session and a PM session. During the AM session Eric Larsen and Kaye Lietz will present iPad basics including “must see” apps and websites for all educators. During the PM session participants will work in small job specific groups to explore and share “job specific” apps and other uses of the iPad to enhance learning for your specific students. Work groups will be divided into the following categories: Cross-Categorical, Autism, VI, DHH, Speech/Language, and OT/PT.

Target Audience: Special Education Teachers

Cost: $50.00 for schools who are members of any consortium: AT, Media Services, SIS, TRITON Enhanced, RSN, Autism

          $100.00 for all other districts

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee.
