OT and PT representatives from CESA 5 will discuss this interesting topic and provide you with strategies to help you figure out what is really going on with your students. Practical advice and suggestions will give you a framework to help determine the etiology of the behaviors a student is demonstrating, as well as proactive ways to deal with your concerns. Additionally, the pros and cons of the use of deep pressure techniques and therapeutic massage will be discussed. Come with your questions, and be prepared to have them all answered!
