Strengthening Struggling Secondary Readers:
Designing Responsive Reading Instruction for Students who Struggle

An Institute and Service Package for District Teams

Teachers, do you find yourself endlessly modifying texts and tasks because some students struggle to independently read what you include in your instruction?  Do you know, specifically, what barriers are keeping these students from reading successfully?  Join us and let’s find out!

This service will provide your district or school team with insights, tools, resources, and knowledge to develop actionable ways to address the struggle– not just work around it.  With a hybrid learning and coaching approach, you will have the opportunity to both develop routines and practices to help secondary struggling readers grow and put them into practice with “in your building” support from Literacy Center coaches.
