Ladysmith

Paraprofessionals contribute to all students' success. This training will equip paraprofessionals with skills and strategies to support students. The initial workshop will focus on general strategies and communication. Future sessions will focus on content specific strategies.

Learning Outcomes:

Paraprofessionals will learn communication strategies to assist in communicating with teachers they support.
Paraprofessionals will learn and practice questioning techniques that can be helpful across multiple content areas.
Paraprofessionals will learn de-escalations strategies to support student behaviors in the classroom.

This workshop is offered on-site at Ladysmith for district staff.
