Mentor Training with Proven Results!

Presenters: Beth Clarke, Latricia Johnson, Valerie Schmitz, Lynee Tourdot

Cost: $3150/mentor

Description: CESA 2 is offering Year 2 of the Research-Based and nationally known New Teacher Center Mentor Training. This training has also been used for instructional coaches. The research has shown 2-5 months growth in Math and ELA for the students of the new teacher when being mentored by a mentor who has had this training. It also shows growth in the mentor and higher retention for both the mentor and the new teacher. The training is highly instructional with training on the mentoring process, instructional tools and observation methods to use to improve the practices of the new teacher and get better results for their students! Additionally, there is evidence of higher teacher retention when new teachers are mentored by NTC trained Mentors/Coaches. Be ready to mentor new teachers for the 2022-23 school year with this nationally known, research-based training that shows real results. The second year of the training dives deeper into how to coach for success for all students, and how to dive deeper into the tools that create results.
