Digital Information Fluency for Educators & Administrators

This six-week online course, facilitated by an instructor, includes the essentials of locating, evaluating and using Internet and Web 2.0 resources. This course involves five hours of weekly work that combines readings, interactive learning games, discussion groups, weekly Elluminate sessions and practical assignments delivered via Moodle. Participants begin with an Elluminate orientation session.

This class is designed to develop your existing knowledge, skills, and dispositions regarding 21st Century Information Skills. Participants will become more efficient searchers, evaluators and integrators of digital information as they learn how to teach these skills to the students and staff they work with every day.

Registration Fee: $500 (checks should be made out to CESA #12) +Credit Fee: 2 Viterbo Credits $220 (checks should be made out to Viterbo)

CESA #12 Educational Technology Consulting Consortium Plan A Members receive a $50 discount on the registration fee.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:
