This workshop will dig into the State Accountability Report Card. Participants will have the opportunity to investigate new measures and compare to previous years.  We will delve into the data to continue building data literacy and ensure quality local data entry and validation practices.  The workshop format is conducive for networking with others. Bring a data team to maximize the workshop’s effectiveness.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Explore the report card features

  • Make meaning of the numbers and ratings

  • Investigate what lies behind the numbers

  • Plan for next steps

  • Network with other districts

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • District and school personnel with the responsibility of communicating the meaning of report cards to other stakeholders. This may include curriculum coordinators, teacher leaders, building administrators, department leaders, or technology directors.

(Participants should have access to the detailed version of the secure report card in SAFE)
