These meetings will provide updated information and collaboration time for new and continuing Title I Coordinators in the Fall and in the Spring.  Meeting agendas will focus on the ESSA application and budget, communicating with private school partners, family engagement, Title I law, programming, reporting requirements, school improvement strategies and monitoring information.

Note: This series is designed to replace the Fall & Spring Title I Coordinator meetings previously funded statewide by DPI.

 

OBJECTIVES:

  • Receive information about Title I expectations with guidance from DPI

  • Review and analyze data, specifically related to local programming and student achievement

  • Discuss effective strategies that also align with ESEA compliance

  • Discuss the role of Title I in an RtI system.  How do Title I, Special Education and EL programs work together?

  • Network with other Title I Coordinators

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • District personnel with the responsibility of Title programming, budgets, and instruction (i.e. Title I Coordinator, Principal, Superintendent, lead Title I teacher, Reading Specialist, RtI Coordinator)

 

REGISTRATION:

  • $150 for both sessions

  • No cost for ESEA/ESSA & WISEgrants Guidance Consortium members or ESSA Monitoring Support Service Registrants

  • REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
