Overview
This workshop will provide hands on activities for students, middle school through high school, which will assist them in setting up a Peer Helpers program in their individual districts. The goals of the Peer Helper Program Training are:

1. To help young people develop the capability to prevent some of the problems of adolescence.
2. To help young people develop the capability to intervene effectively with troubled friends.
3. To help young people develop the capability to choose positive ways of taking care of them.
4. To help young people develop the capability to improve their school and community.

Cost is $10/student - there is no cost for counselors/chaperones bringing the students.

If your district will not be attending, please contact Joan Kiewit (joank@cesa12.k12.wi.us) so that we may open this to more students from consortium districts that are planning to attend.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:

If a workshop has been canceled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. Please make sure all your contact information is correct on myQuickReg.com
