Develop your instructional practices through Illustrative Mathematics

Presenters: Steven Mijajlovic

Description: Set the stage to teach and learn with the Illustrative Mathematics four-part Virtual Teach & Learn series. This offering provides a foundational understanding of IM and sets you up for success with the two-day introduction.

Professional learning that is deeply integrated with the curriculum to support your teachers, coaches, paraeducators, and math leaders in developing, refining, and reflecting on their instructional practice. Gain first-hand experience and fluency with the IM curricula at this online teach & learn event led by an IM certified facilitator.

This session features grade-appropriate examples from the Illustrative Mathematics resource for grades 6-12. It is the same content as the series on June 1st & 2nd, 2022.

  • Locate resources and opportunities to support access for English learners and students with disabilities.
  • Recognize the progression of understanding across the unit and how it is assessed.
