Engaging Families in the CCR IEP Process (Virtual)

January 20, 2022

12:00 - 1:30 PM

Are you part of an IEP team?  Have you felt families are not sure what to share at IEP meetings?  The value of parent engagement is most evident during the special education process, especially when designing an Individualized Education Plan for a student.  Join us as we learn and reflect on our practice of engaging families in the CCR-IEP process.  We will identify ways to engage families in authentic discussions during the IEP process, increase awareness of resources available to support family participation to make it meaningful and relevant to families, and explore and network around strategies for engagement.
