The New Portage Guide B-6 Training is a 2 day event with an optional e-TOP training the evening of Day 1.

Time:         9:00a-3:30p both days
Location:  Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center, Stevens Point
Cost:         $65.00 for the 2-day training includes lunch, breaks and training materials. (*Price does not include The New Portage Guide materials)

OPTIONAL e-TOP Training: January 26th
5:00-8:00pm (Dinner included)
Cost:     *see note below $25.00 (includes dinner)

*When you register you'll be asked if you would like to sign up for this optional evening training. If yes, we ask that you pay for this separately. If you wish to use PayPal, PRIOR to paying, please email me and I will adjust your registration costs to reflect the additional $25 fee. Thank you for your cooperation.

TRAINING DETAILS
New Portage Guide B-6 Two day Training:
Participants will develop skills in utilizing the New Portage Guide: B-6 as an observation & planning tool. Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of the New Portage Guide: B-6 materials and acquire knowledge and skills utilizing the New Portage Guide.

The OPTIONAL e-TOP Training:
Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of the eTOP, web-based materials and aquire knowledge and skills in utilizing the e-TOP online materials.

Teacher Standards
WES2The teacher understands how children with broad ranges of ability learn and provides instruction that supports their intellectual, social, and personal development.
WES7The teacher organizes and plans systematic instruction based upon knowledge of subject matter, pupils, the community, and curriculum goals.
WES8The teacher understands and uses formal and informal assessment strategies to evaluate and ensure the continuous intellectual, social, and physical development of the pupil.
Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
