The Dyslexia Dialogue

Creating Plans through Collective Discussion

Join the Literacy Center for conversation, guidance, and strategizing. This free opportunity will bring leaders together to explore the WI DPI Informational Guidebook on Dyslexia and Related Conditions. We’ll unpack the Guidebook’s references to impactful reading instruction practices which can be implemented to meet the needs of all readers.

Together, we will:

  • Review and learn key components of  WI's Informational Guidebook on Dyslexia and Related Conditions

  • Understand the DPI mandate and implications of posting the Guidebook on your website

  • Develop ways to conduct productive, in-depth conversations with stakeholders in your school district

  • Discuss how those conversations are going (or how they went) and the next steps...

  • Explore the Literacy Center's upcoming professional learning cohort opportunity designed to:

    • Take a deep dive into the science and balance of quality early literacy instruction

    • Create strategic implementation plans to improve reading instruction in grades K-2 for all students
