WETL Road to CTO Clinic Webinar Series

December 16, 2021; January 13, 2022; February 3, 2022

11:30 AM- 1:30 PM each date.

ROAD TO CTO: CYBERSECURITY AND THE FOCUS ON DATA WETL (Wisconsin Educational Technology Leaders), in partnership with DPI, is proud to announce a series of support workshops to assist your school district in focusing on security around data shared within our schools and with outside vendors. Join technology leaders across the state to explore the implications, dangers, and strategies around protecting data from cyber threats and attacks. This series of learning is broken into three mini-workshops that will take place on December 16th, January 13th, and February 3rd from 11:30 to 1:30. Each workshop will consist of a 45-minute presentation delivered by an industry expert, district designated work time, and a whole group final share out. Completion of this series of workshops will prepare your district to test your data protection plan at the 2021 CTO clinic taking place on Sunday, March 13, 2022 (prior to Brainstorm Conference and a separate registration link).

Cost: Free to attend

We encourage your district to register a team for these hands-on work sessions. Registration is required.

A ZOOM link will be sent out prior to each session. **THERE IS A DIFFERENT ZOOM LINK FOR EACH SESSION**

  • December 16, 2021: Focus on District-owned Internal Data
  • January 13, 2022: Focus on Data Shared with District Vendors
  • February 3, 2022: Focus on Data Shared with Teacher-Selected Resources
  • March 13, 2022: Putting it All Together - Tabletop Exercises to Put Your Plan to the Test (Annual WETL CTO Clinic)
