CS For ALL SCRIPT Training Fall Cohort
November 17 & 18, 2021 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM
CSforALL provides "computer science for all," with a mission to create high-quality, equitable, and accessible computer science programs as an integral part of our K-12 education in the United States. The SCRIPT (Strategic CSforALL Resource and Implementation Planning Tool) Training Workshop will guide school districts to create a customized implementation plan in order to meet the goals and needs of a rigorous, inclusive, and sustainable computer science infrastructure. This will include goal-setting across five specific areas: (1) Materials and Curriculum, (2) Leadership, (3) Teacher Capacity and Development, (4) Partners, and (5) Community.
This opportunity is offered to CESA 4 schools for FREE through partnership and supports from DPI. Space is limited to 3 school district teams of 3-5 members. Please register your entire team.
*A Spring Cohort will take place on March 30-31, 2022. Check CESA 4's website for registration information for that cohort.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
