This workshop is for new teachers or any teacher who is interested in learning more about how to write useful Student Learning Objectives. The workshop will address how an SLO can be used to plan assessment practices that support all learners. Attendees will also focus on how to use an SLO all year long as an intentful equity practice in the classroom.

 

Learning Objectives

  • The learner will know where to find resources for writing quality SLOs.
  • The learner will begin to plan for formative assessment of the learning identified in the SLO.
  • The learner will make a schedule for review and use of the SLO throughout the year as an equity practice.

 

This workshop is offered at no additional cost to those districts participating in Universal School Improvement Services (Discount will be automatically applied.) including: Abbotsford, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Thorp.

The cost for all other participants will be $500 per workshop
