Math Educator Network

To promote the learning of mathematics, this network will bring math educators from across the CESA #10 region together to collaborate on the teaching and learning of mathematics in our classrooms. Time will be devoted during each session to network and collaborate with other math educators. We will engage in a book study with the series of Taking Action: Implementing Effective Mathematics Teaching Practices (Grades K-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12) as well as work around the newly revised WI Math Standards.

Learning Outcomes:

• Collaborate with other math educators and leaders to share effective work in mathematics instruction.
• Engage in a study of how to create equitable learning environments that support the mathematics learning of all students.
• Stay current with local, state, and national mathematics news and updates.

This is a 3-part series:

• August 10th: 9am - noon
• November 16th: 9am - 3pm 
• April 5th: 9am - 3pm

This workshop is offered at no cost to those districts participating in Universal School Improvement Services (Discount will be automatically applied.) including: Abbotsford, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Thorp. This 3 part series is otherwise $1,000 in total.
