Introduction to Moodle

This workshop provides educators with the skills and knowledge they will need to be an effective online instructor in order to meet the needs of 21st century students. Using Moodle, course participants will become part of a community of learners as they build a solid foundation for their own online course. They will learn how to ensure that their learning outcomes are met through educationally sound activities that are measured through technology based assessments while providing opportunities for active learning.

Goals/Objectives

1. Learn the basic functionality of Moodle and how to utilize its features.

2. Review varied Moodle Courses

3. Begin to develop a course on Moodle that will integrate various technologies and file types into interactive lessons that will enhance student learning and achievement.

Time:  9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (8:30-9:00 a.m. registration)

Location:  CESA 8 Office - Gillett

Fee:    $10.00 for members of Online Learning Services (Peshtigo & White Lake)

          $25.00 for members of Enhanced Services or Media Services (Coleman, Crivitz, Goodman, Lena, Oconto Falls, Pembine & Suring)

          $100.00 for all other districts.

 

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee.
