Psych Networking + School Counselor Connection

Audience: School Psychologists, School Counselors, Principals, Directors

Special Presentation:  Please join CESA 8 as we welcome Lisa Koenecke to increase our LGBTQ+ inclusionary practices.  Lisa is a former middle/high school counselor, the Past President of WSCA and has served on the American School Counselor Association Board of Directors.  Currently, she is a Counselor Educator at Lakeland University training the next generation of school counselors.  She has her Diversity & Inclusion Certification from Cornell University, has given a TEDx Talk and has written a best-seller, "Be an Inclusion Ally: ABCs of LGBTQ+."  Together we will learn current vocabulary, pronoun usage, laws, and walk away with free resources to guide our work.  Let's save some lives together!

9:00 -10:15 a.m. - Comprehensive Evaluations & DPI connection with Psych & SLD consultants

BREAK

10:30 - Noon - Lisa Koenecke connection with psychs/school counselors (LGBTQ focus). **virtual connection for staff not attending in person - Zoom link will be sent to those who are registered.

12:00 - Lunch

12:30-2:00 pm - School Psych Networking - participants will engage in networking around school psychologist school-related topics and needs.

In-person attendance is encouraged for all participants, so that you can fully engage in the learning

and conversations around job-alike topics.

Cost: $25.00 - for those in person - please note in your registration whether you will be virtual or in-person

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee.
