Session Dates (Attend All)*:

September 22, 2021; October 27, 2021; November 10, 2021; December 8, 2021; January 19, 2022

Each session is 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

*Dates subject to change

Workshop Learning Objectives:

  • Increased understanding of the CCR IEP Five Step Process and foundational beliefs and how to use them to develop IEPs
  • Application of the five steps to better develop IEPs designed to improve access, engagement, and progress for students with IEPs
  • Identify strategies to use in preparing for and participating in the IEP team meetings
  • Increased awareness of CCR-IEP resources available to support the development of CCR-IEPs

Preparation for the Workshop:

Prior to participating, participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with CCR IEP resources: WI DPI CCR IEP web page.

In addition, a small amount of pre-work will be assigned prior to each session.  Each participant should bring a copy of a student's IEP* to use as reference or have access to an IEP online to use during the training.

Each 1.5-hour session will cover one of the five steps so participants are asked to attend all five and registrations after sessions have begun can't be accommodated.

*Workshop participants are reminded of FERPA protections and are highly encouraged to redact personally identifiable information from IEPs they may happen to share with participants from other districts during workshop activities.

BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS WORKSHOP PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR DISTRICT'S APPROVAL TO ATTEND.
