Know Everything You Can Do with Google Slides!

 Hello Google users! Already a Google Slide user and looking to learn some time-saving tips and tricks? Ready to load your toolbelt with some creative ways to use some of the many Google Slides features? Using Slides to create newsletters and certificates, publishing content to the web, adding audio, incorporating PearDeck and more! Join us in this energetic presentation and leave with ideas you can begin implementing immediately. We will share some creative and practical ways to use Google Slides that I have found to be extremely beneficial, along with some “must-haves” that can help transform your practice and streamline some processes. About the Presenter:

A teacher for 29 years in the Verona Area School District, Rita Mortenson has enjoyed working with school staff, students, parents and community members helping to integrate technology into the classrooms. Since 1995, she have been the Educational Technology Coordinator for Verona Area High School and is a National Board Certified teacher with an MBA degree. She is also an active Discovery STAR Educator, serves as the Events Chair for the Wisconsin DEN Leadership Council, and in 2009 was one of three teachers selected to participate in the Discovery Student Pilot Adventure in China for 15 days. Recently, she was selected as one of the 5, Discovery Educator Network (DEN) Gurus, which recognizes “distinguished educators who are thought leaders in the education community.”  

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a refund if they cancel prior to 3 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Cancellations must either be made on MyQuickReg or by emailing cancel@cesa2.org. Because of our commitment to the presenter and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 3 working days prior to the event or who do not attend the event, will be billed the full fee. CESA 2 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via phone and email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. 

Inclement Weather Policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 2 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been cancelled due to weather conditions.

Disclaimer: CESA 2 will do its best to accommodate general dietary requests; if your dietary need is very specific or severe, you may want to bring your own lunch to ensure your comfort and health. CESA 2 does not assume liability for adverse reactions to food consumed or items one may come into contact with while eating at a CESA 2 event. In-Person Events: Restrictions on our in-person events due to COVID-19 have been lifted. We will be responsive to what's happening within our communities, and guidelines from the CDC and local health agencies for future offerings and will update guidelines when necessary.
