English Learners thrive in classrooms that are visually engaging which helps comprehensible input develop a deeper understanding of the lessons. Join us in learning strategies to teach and assess language learners. We guarantee these strategies will increase comprehension for all learners in your classroom.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will identify strategies that connect with the curriculum they lead.
Increased knowledge of assessment shifts to assess learning versus language of content.
Collaboration with teachers across our region in supporting newcomers.

This workshop is offered for CESA 10 Title III Consortium members at no cost. Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Cornell, Eleva-Strum, Fall Creek, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Medford, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, Stanley-Boyd, and Thorp. The cost for all other participants will be $500 per workshop.
