The Neuroscience of Connected Leadership Conversations to Promote Healthy Communication
Between Staff, Administration and Students

Have you ever said something to someone that unintentionally upset, or even offended them? Even with the best intentions, our words sometimes have unintended impacts. So how do you recover from the disconnection and rebuild trust when that happens?

Conversational Intelligence® (C-IQ®). C-IQ is a neuroscience framework for identifying and recovering from unintentional impacts to build trust in communication. During a conversation, there’s a neurochemical cocktail that’s influencing all parties involved. These influences are unconscious, however, we can learn to recognize the signs of neurochemical impacts and tailor our communication to create the highest trust and connection in order to foster a strong foundation to build the best school environment for all. Without these skills building relationships, with intention and having effective conversations around challenging topics, can falter and a tentative foundation crumbles.

This session introduces easy-to-use tools for engaging in effective, connected conversation with administration, team members and students. By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the impact of different neurochemicals on communication and trust
  • Learn to differentiate three levels of conversation and how to switch between them
  • Overcome blind spots that negatively impact trust
  • ?Apply three neuroscience strategies to restore positive relationships following a disconnection

Don't wait to experience disconnection between teams and students. Learn how to build and maintain a strong foundation now that provides a direction to higher learning results with trust and connectedness between administration, staff and students!
