Description:

As part of the Foundations of Blended Teaching WDLC series, this session is designed to support educators as they design learning for students, whether in person or remotely.

During the micro-course Onboarding Students to Blended Learning, educators will develop strategies to teach students to function in a blended environment, nurture student agency, and support students not engaging in blended learning as they work to streamline the adjustment process for students new to high-agency blended learning.

Learning Targets

  • Teach students technology literacy skills to function in a blended environment.
  • Nurture student agency skills.
  • Support students who are not engaging in blended learning.

Micro-course requirements include three synchronous whole group virtual sessions on the dates and times listed as well as independent work between sessions. The estimated time commitment is 15 hours.
