This training is designed to teach principles, concepts, systems and tools necessary to utilize Functional Behavior Assessment and Functional Based Behavior Intervention Planning, (FBA-BIP) to support students with problem behavior and barriers to learning. The training sessions focus will be on the specific processes, setting up, designing, completing, analyzing and implementing components of an FBA in a real and tangible way. This training will also provide trainees with the skillset and tools needed to train and coach other school personnel on behavorial principles, FBA and BIP processes.

Training Sequence:
- Day 1 (August 4): FBA and BIP processes
- Day 2 (August 9): Follow up 1: Plan Writing and Train/Coaching Procedures
Who Should Participate:
- FBA/BIP Facilitators: counselors, social workers, school psycholoists, behavior analysts, behavior specialists, special education directors, special education coordinators, special education teachers, etc.
- Supporting specialists/team memabers: administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, one-on-one aides
- We want to encourage district Teams to sign up

Cost of the event for both days is: $275.00 per person for PDforSESS members. $475.00 per person for Non-PDforSESS members.
We will need a minimum of 20 participants in order to offer this workshop

Virtual....... If you would like to have a team participate virtually in your district and access the training, please be advised that the training is being designed for in-person learning access. You will still need to register individually. Someone from your team can contact Sue Schuettpelz, susans@cesa8.org to request virtual participation with the team. The expectation is that the team will be together at the district to engage in the learning. The cost will remain the same whether the team is at CESA 8 or in-district.
